DETROIT -- If the regular-season meetings are any indication, home ice could be crucial should the Red Wings and San Jose Sharks meet in the playoffs.
The Wings' 4-1 victory Wednesday night at Joe Louis Arena gives them two victories at home over the Sharks while the Sharks won both in San Jose. (see whole write up and red wings news)
